  he is not responding to my phone calls.

  the last i heard from him was wednesday night, around 6 p.m. or so, dec.22, 04. .

  Hey MULAN... cool gift for Little Toe

  A "floatation device". It is a long swim back across the ocean to his home. I'm sure he'll appreciate this gift, for sure. hehe

  When I first saw Princess with her gift my first thought was. Well lookie there, she's opened a gift that quite obviously belongs to Cruzinheart/Nina. just kiddin with ya Mulan. I know Cruzanheart is spelled differently than this brand name waffle maker.

  It's just not the same around here without you.

  Looks like you will have a couple of grandbabies fighting for your lap for rides in your new motorized wheelchair.

  I was wondering if perhaps his family overseas got him a ticket and he is out of the country. That would be a good thing for him to be with his family right now.

  I find a lot of women I know are stressed out!

  the demands of a household with kids, husband, and also working outside the home. Constant pressure, not enough sleep and being overworked and a lot of times under paid.

  I find lives in our 21 century extremely over busy with everything..

  What is everyone doing for Christmas?

  we are going out to glenview, il to spend w/my husband's family christmas eve.

  however, my son is sick with another virus, so unfortunately we may have to miss this year .

  what will you be doing for the holidays including new years!

  Well, for Christmas I'm

  (hmm, hmm.. clearing voice)..and singing...

  I'm making a list, checking it twice, gonna find out whose naughty or nice?

  I'm spending Christmas at home with my kids,husband. I've been baking the last couple days.

  I make things that were favourites of people who have passed away in my life.

  1. Nana's Sweet Rolls..( I loved my nana) ..heart gave out

  2. Papa Curry's gumdrop cake ( I loved papa currie).. Damn Cancer! 2000

  3. Now I have to find out what my neighbour Doug loved.. he died Nov 30. Damn Cancer! 2004

  I find it reminicent an enjoyable to make things that remind me of people I've lost in my life..

  .. gotta go..and bake some more.

  Anybody else affected by the winter storm?

  i awoke this morning to the sound of creaking and breaking tree branches in my neighborhood, one after the other, due to the heavy accumulation of ice from last night's storm.. unfortunately, one of the trees in my backyard is a complete wreck, and it fell on my power lines, breaking them.

  i drove around the neighborhood a bit and the tree carnage is like nothing i've ever seen.. also, in a span of 3 to 4 hours i saw probably 8 bright green flashes of power transformers popping.

  i probably will not have power for at least 3 days, probably more.
